Preeper brothers charged in Melissa Peacock murder

NOEL: Two brothers from the Noel area have been charged in the murders of Melissa Peacock.
At a press conference on July 4, Nova Scotia RCMP, Halifax Regional Police, and Truro Police Services announced they had arrested the two in Peacock—who went missing in November.
Police arrested Dustan Joseph Preeper, formerly of Noel, and Joshua Michael Preeper, 20, of Kenentcook, on July 3 in Kennetcook and Halifax.
Human remains found in Colchester County are believed to be that of Peacock.
Dustan Preeper, 24, has also been charged with the murder of Ben Hare, who was stabbed at a party in 2010.
He and Josh Preeper are charged with first degree murder of Peacock.
