• Musquodoboit Valley Co-op On-line and In-Store auction taking place now visit their Facebook page to participate. Auction ends June 1 with an auctioneer starting at 12 p.m. All proceeds go to the IWK Hospital.

• 4th Annual Tour and Tea in aid of the Stephen Lewis Foundation Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign to help grandmothers in Africa support their grandchildren orphaned by AIDS. • Musquodoboit Valley Co-op On-line and In-Store auction taking place now visit their Facebook page to participate. Auction ends June 1 with an auctioneer starting at 12 p.m. All proceeds go to the IWK Hospital.

• Immunization Clinics by Public Health Services are held on the third Monday each month starting at 3 p.m. at Public Health Services in the Lloyd E. Matheson Centre. Call 883-3500 for an appointment. We offer routine childhood immunizations, as well as immunizations for students and adults. We do not offer TB (tuberculin) testing for education or employment purposes.

• East Hants Writers group meets 6:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month at the Elmsdale Library. Anyone with an interest in writing is welcome to attend.

• Hearing Aid Collection: your local Lions club is now collecting used hearing aids. If you have any of these you may give them to any member of the Lions Club. Or you can drop them in one of the eye glass collection boxes. They will be cleaned, repaired and distributed to those with hearing problems. Thank You.
