SHUBENACADIE: Indian Brook resident Travis Jeremiah Augustine, 18, will appear in Shubenacadie Provincial Court again on May 3, for a sentencing report on charges of mischief after allegedly damaging a fire extinguisher.

Coleman Byron Bezanson, 18, from Fall River, has requested more time to seek counsel before entering a plea on charges of possessing cannabis for the purpose of trafficking. He will enter his plea on March 1.

Indian Brook resident Andrew James Bernard, 38, will be remanded in custody until his next appearance in Shubenacadie Provincial Court for a show cause hearing on charges he is facing of impaired driving, refusing to provide a sample of his breath, and three counts of breaching probation after allegedly failing to keep the peace, possessing alcohol and having care and control of a vehicle while prohibited. He will appear on Feb. 15. On that date, he will enter his plea on additional charges of impaired driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol level exceeding the legal limit from Nov. 5, 2009 and the same charges stemming from Dec. 3, 2009. On Feb. 15, Bernard will also be arraigned for two additional breaches of probation charges.

A summons has been issued for Oldham resident Thomas Joseph Lyle Brown, 20, to appear in Shubenacadie Provincial Court on charges of mischief after allegedly damaging the exterior door at Shooters on Jan. 23. His next scheduled court appearance is March 1.

A warrant has been issued and endorsed for Dartmouth resident Christopher Robert Cameron, 23, to appear in Shubenacadie Provincial Court on charges of uttering threats to cause serious bodily harm and mischief after allegedly damaging apartment doors.

Mitchell David Cole, 21, from Milford, has entered a guilty plea on charges of producing cannabis and has had charges of possessing cannabis withdrawn. He will be sentenced in Shubenacadie Provincial Court on April 12. On that date he will also be sentenced on charges of falsely obtaining money from the Elmsdale Scotiabank and assault with a weapon, to wit, a knife, after entering guilty pleas on Feb. 1.

Middle Musquodoboit resident Cory Cooper, 25, will enter his plea on charges of possessing a stolen Pontiac Sunfire, possessing stolen mailbox keys, possessing a stolen 1999 Hyundai Accent and possessing a stolen purse in Shubenacadie Provincial Court on April 12.

After entering pleas of not guilty, Gail Ann Ettinger, 48, of Lantz, will begin her trial on charges of assault, resisting arrest and breach of probation on Sept.16.

Indian Brook resident Jason Alfred Maloney, 30, will enter his plea on assault charges in Shubenacadie Provincial Court on April 12.

Alexander Perry McKenna, 20, of Enfield, will enter his plea on charges of assault, unlawfully entering a dwelling and loitering at night on March 1, in Shubenacadie Provincial Court.

Fall River resident Clarence Naill MacLean, 18, will enter his plea on charges of possessing cannabis in Shubenacadie Provincial Court on March 1. Kyle Alexander Osborne, 20, from Oakfield, will also enter his plea on charges of possessing cannabis on the same day.

After pleading guilty to charges of aggravated assault after wounding, maiming and disfiguring his assault victim on Nov. 9, Jeremiah Justin Paul, 25, from Indian Brook, will remain in custody until he is sentenced on April 12.

Levi Russell Paul, 27, will be remanded in custody until Feb. 8, when he will appear in Shubenacadie Provincial Court for a show cause hearing on charges of stealing $25 while armed with a knife.

Upper Rawdon resident Patrick Gerald Rhyno, 34, will enter his plea on charges of assault causing bodily harm and confinement on March 1, in Shubenacadie Provincial Court.

A warrant has been issued and held for Gwynne Catherine Sack, 23, on charges of mischief after allegedly damaging a window in Indian Brook. The warrant will be held until her next scheduled court appearance on Feb. 15.

Kennetcook resident Stuart Victor Weir, 46, will enter his plea on charges of assault in Shubenacadie Provincial Court on April 12.

Kirk Douglas Campbell, 49, from Nine Mile River, will appear in Shubenacadie Provincial Court again on July 6 for a preliminary inquiry on charges of fraudulently consuming energy from Nova Scotia Power, at a value exceeding $5,000, storing a firearm in a careless manner, possessing cannabis for the purpose of trafficking and possessing cannabis.

Upper Rawdon resident William Todd Bowman, 41, will make his first appearance in Shubenacadie Provincial Court on Feb. 15, to answer to charges of possessing cannabis.

Charges against Truro resident Lawrence William Neil, 58, of impaired driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol level exceeding the legal limit have been dismissed after the crown had no new evidence to offer.

Elmsdale resident Devon John Douglas Turnbull, 18, from Elmsdale, has entered a change of plea to guilty on charges of possessing cannabis for the purpose of trafficking. He will be sentenced on May 17.
